Ritual for a Radical Future, a Spell Writing Workshop with the Coven Intelligence Program, December 21, 2020.

Coven Intelligence Program is a revolutionary, anti-capitalist alliance among witches, plants, and machines. In One two three potions a secret word/ and soon you’ll see a freer world, spells are woven into visual patterns encoded in textiles, as well as into networks of connection between plants, rhizomes, and mycelia. Hiding in their structure, there are algorithmic instructions and prophetic signs only readable to unpaid plant, human, and machine laborers in the capitalist system of extraction and exploitation. The audience is presented with hints to the system of signs to be deciphered, and diagrams and notes about their larger conspiracy.
