Suzanne Husky is a French-American artist who questions how humans engage with nature, from prehistory to present day. Using sculpture, installation, photography and film, she looks at our relations with plants, animals, and the earth and how we interact together in poetic and political ways. She received an MFA from Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux, as well as a certification in landscape design from Merritt College in Oakland. Her work is represented by Alain Gutharc Gallery, Paris and has shown globally at venues including YBCA’s Bay Area Now 5 and the 2019 Istanbul Biennial. She is the recipient of a 2020 Creative Work Fund award for her collaboration with Earth Activist Training.
