YBCA’s public art initiatives center the work of artists who are cultural anchors and change-makers. Across our campus—which includes the YBCA Grand Forum Building, the Blue Shield of California Theater, and the Yerba Buena Gardens—and out in community, our aim is to develop site-specific artworks and related interdisciplinary programming that explores some of the essential questions of our place and time.
