At YBCA, we believe that the true leaders live among us, and we want to elevate and celebrate them. Who are the people making a real difference in the health and wellbeing of the Bay Area? Nominate them for the 2020 YBCA 100 List, which honors and celebrates everyday heroes—artists, activists, and creative changemakers.
For many years, YBCA has been forging radical partnerships and reimagining structures to center artists as essential drivers of health and wellbeing in their communities. As part of this, we have worked diligently to incorporate artists into global conversations about social impact and equitable community investment.

YBCA is OPEN, and we are doing OPEN differently. We invite our community to join us on our journey to radically reinvent what it means to be a center for artists and the public to build a more just and equitable future.
YBCA prioritizes above all the safety, health and wellbeing of our staff, collaborating artists and partners, and community. We strictly follow the COVID-19 guidance of local and state public health agencies, OSHA, and the CDC to ensure that our protocols address and mitigate the risk of illness and injury and promote wellbeing.
