SF Urban Film Fest in Residence at YBCA

In early 2020, YBCA invited multidisciplinary collective SF Urban Film Fest to join the organization as a two-year resident to reimagine the role of film in civic engagement. This partnership offers both organizations the opportunity to harness the power of creativity through film and inspire the public to engage with their city with a critical and communal lens.

Through community-led film screenings, public-facing exhibitions and conversations with artists, activists and filmmakers, SFUFF and YBCA are dedicated to creating new pathways for partnerships and reimagining film programming at arts institutions.

Explore all SFUFF’s work with us below as they continue to experiment with how the arts can open gateways to civic engagement and urban planning.
