This fall the festival is built around the urgent question: Why Citizenship?
From the seven newly commissioned performances by prolific Bay Area artists—spanning from contemporary dance to experimental performance—to pop-up installations, community conversations, and even a late-night party that creates dance floor citizenship, each aspect of Transform will inspire and provoke you.
A one-of-a-kind set design by architect Giacomo Castagnola also responds to the same question of “Why citizenship?” It will offer the audience a completely immersive environment that dynamically adapts to the program’s variety of dance styles.
