Fredericko Alvarado lives in Oakland, California and works in the Bay Area collaborating with different organizations, schools, individuals, and cultural centers. Alvarado is a project-based artist working collectively through mural arts, zine-making, video, and curatorial practices. His work revolves around placemaking with communities in the creations of site-specific works. The projects that Fred pursues explore the hybridity in which the form of collaborative community projects can take while addressing the self agency that occurs through creative processes.
