The Haunt is an artist-made haunted house from Bat Witch Ghost, presented at YBCA from Saturday, October 25 through Saturday, November 1.

This annual event brings the American haunted house tradition to life with the spirit and resourcefulness of San Francisco’s creative underworld—spooky yet campy, scrappy but full of wonder, DIY and open to everyone.

In this year’s incarnation, visitors will be invited into a labyrinth built from salvaged materials, bat’s wool, eye of Newt, buried dreams, and a lot of hot glue. Outside the maze, guests can mingle and explore the graveyard with libations, a dance floor, dank merch, and otherworldly delights.

Afternoon shows are family-friendly, kid-scary, while evening shows are recommended 13 and up. Kids 12 and under are free, but no unaccompanied minors allowed. Evening tickets sold by entry time.
