Reverend
Reverend Wanda Johnson is a national speaker and America’s voice of compassion for individuals who have lost loved ones due to violence. Her heart-breaking story made worldwide news on January 1, 2009, when her son, Oscar Grant III, was killed by a local transit peace officer. Since then, Johnson’s ministry has been to work tirelessly to address the stereotyping of racial minorities, to comfort grieving families, and to improve the criminal justice system. She has become an amplified voice for mothers and organizers who are seeking to put an end to systemic racism in America, traveling around the world and sharing her story with thousands of people.
