BFF.fm (Best Frequencies Forever) is a community radio station, broadcasting online from the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District with the goal of bringing people together. BFF.fm supports, mentors, and provides opportunities for Bay Area DJs from all walks of life to learn, experiment, and gain real world experience. It is both a platform and community for people who love radio and may not otherwise have had access to it. Their DJs are the people you stand next to at shows and ride Muni with. They share the music we love on the radio because that’s what drives them, not algorithms or commercial interests. BFF.fm is a rare gem—a beautiful reflection of the more than 125 dedicated volunteers who give of themselves to serve the community through live radio magic, new music discovery, and fun live events.
