Ayudando Latinos A Soñar

Ayudando Latinos A Soñar (ALAS) is dedicated to giving creative expression to Latino youth, families and farmworkers of Half Moon Bay. Our mission is to celebrate identity and preserve the rich cultures, traditions, and values of Mexico and Latin America woven through our cultural arts, education, mental health, farmworker support, social justice advocacy, and COVID crisis response programs.

ALAS inspires, heals, and strengthens community through the arts as an entry point to wrap around services. Our direct services in the field commit to working alongside the community to build trust, agency, and accompaniment. ALAS opens space for our Latino community to join together in civic engagement and leadership that amplifies cultural wealth. As we all live under the same moon, ALAS believes in a social justice model of advocacy for immigrant and human rights. ALAS’s motto, ​tu lucha es mi lucha​ defines their work to advocate, amplify, heal, and join in community to soar above the struggle, dreaming together.
