ARTogether

ARTogether is an Oakland-based nonprofit organization that seeks to strengthen refugee and immigrant communities through the creative arts, promote arts education, support and promote refugee and immigrant artists, and use community art projects to raise awareness about the refugee and immigrant experience. Founded in 2017, ARTogether offers programs that reach out to refugees and immigrants, providing welcoming and creative spaces for newcomer artists and individuals to connect with their communities. Their mission is to provide art programs that foster compassionate communities where refugees and immigrants can flourish. They envision a world where there are no barriers—or borders—to art and creative expression, everyone is welcomed, and their stories have impact.
