Over the last year and half, the YBCA 10 artists have been using Studio 2 and the 3rd & Mission Street Courtyard as their public workshop and open studio to experiment and test out their prototype designs that center health and well-being, racial justice, and climate equity.
Come explore and experience the installations: cast or learn a new spell in Mahiwagang Libros, get your own library card and check out a plant from the Plant Library, share a family immigration story at Too Experienced to be Taken for a Stroll, generate music from your movement on the interactive dance floor Anima, recenter and reflect on sacred space in Reroot, Reroute, consider gaze and stewardship at The Watchtower, join the worry dolls on strike and make a wish in the Sala de Deseos, and lounge under soul lights and seed banks in Soul Tree Forest.
