From the South on 280: Go north on 280 toward downtown San Francisco. Exit left to 4th Street. Continue through light to 3rd Street and turn left. The YBCA Theater is at 3rd and Howard; Galleries, Forum and Screening Room are one block further at 3rd and Mission Street.
From the South on 101: Go north towards the Bay Bridge; exit at 7th Street, veer left onto Bryant. Turn left onto 3rd Street. The YBCA Theater is at 3rd and Howard; Galleries, Forum and Screening Room are one block further at 3rd and Mission.
From the East: Cross the Bay Bridge; exit to the left at 5th Street. Veer right onto 5th Street going north. Turn right on Folsom; turn left on 3rd. The YBCA Theater is at 3rd and Howard; Galleries, Forum and Screening Room are one block further at 3rd and Mission.
From the North: Cross the Golden Gate Bridge. Exit at Lombard Street. Turn right onto Van Ness Avenue; Turn left onto Grove Street. Veer right as you cross Market Street onto 8th Street. Turn left onto Folsom Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street. The YBCA Theater is at 3rd and Howard; Galleries, Forum and Screening Room are one block further at 3rd and Mission.
Several reasonably priced parking garages are located within a block of YBCA. See the map above. Note: Some parking lots close at 11 pm. Please check with the lot before parking.

FREE gallery admission with your ticket
Gallery admission is included with all paid events (Performances, Films, Public Programs) during regular gallery hours. Just show your ticket at the Information Desk.
All YBCA buildings are wheelchair accessible (including accessible restroom facilities). Wheelchair seating is available in both performance venues and our Screening Room. Please let the Box Office know if you have a person using a wheelchair in your party when you order tickets.
Whenever possible, YBCA hangs art in accordance with recommendations from the American Disabilities Act.
ASL Performances: Both YBCA and the independent presenters who rent our facilities offer ASL-interpereted performances from time to time throughout the season. Please enquire about scheduled ASL performances by calling the YBCA Box Office at 415.978.2787.
Assisted Listening Devices: Lam Research Theater at YBCA is also equipped with special devices for audience members who require listening-assistance. Please enquire at coat check to request a headset.
