About Secure Transactions via YBCA Websites

Our primary CRM (customer relationship management) database, Salesforce, is certified PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant which certifies the safety and protection of your private transactions and credit card data. You can verify Salesforce’s PCI certification on their website. With any Internet-based transaction conducted with private user and payment information, YBCA makes use of encryption through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which is the standard of security for e-commerce throughout the World Wide Web.

About Postal Mail and Mailing Lists

From time to time you may receive mail delivered by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) from various Bay Area arts organizations. Many Bay Area arts organizations share patron postal information to help in outreach to new communities and audiences, and YBCA participates in this sharing of non-member information. YBCA Member and Donor phone, email and address information is always kept confidential. To remove your name from mailing lists outside of YBCA:

– If a piece of mail has your name, but is for an event or performance by another company (including those who use YBCA as a rented performance venue), you must contact that organization directly in order to be removed from their mailing list.
– If a piece of mail is promoting the “Dream House Raffle” (benefitting Yerba Buena Center for the Arts) and has your name, you may contact [email protected] to be removed from that mailing list.

If you receive any piece of mail addressed to “Resident” that mailing is based on information in the USPS database and is not retained in YBCA’s database. You may update your mailing preferences with the Direct Mail Association using the form found at dmachoice.org.

To remove your name from our mailing list, please contact our Box Office at 415-978-2787 or [email protected]. To change the way your donation is acknowledged, please contact [email protected].
