Thao Nguyen

Thao Nguyen is a songwriter, musician, and producer. She has been a critically acclaimed national and international touring and recording artist for over 15 years, releasing 5 studio albums. She has proudly and gratefully called the Bay Area home since 2006. Throughout her years in San Francisco and Oakland, Thao has been honored to work with incredible organizations and institutions such as The Women’s Building, The California Coalition for Women Prisoners (CCWP), 826 Valencia, and Women’s Audio Mission. She performs solo and as the leader of the rock band Thao and The Get Down Stay Down. Her latest record, Temple was released May of 2020 on Ribbon Music.
