Paul Steward

Paul Steward is Pomo, a member of Elem Indian Colony, and a world-renowned musician, singer, and guitarist. As the bandleader of Twice As Good (a duo with his father), he has released eight albums and in 2022 released his own solo album World Champion, that included a newly-written song in the traditional Pomo style and language that incorporated modern electric musical instruments and production. Currently on an intermittent world tour to promote the album, Steward is a representative and ambassador of the Pomo, and a lecturer for the historic American Indian Studies Department at San Francisco State University.
