Mia Mingus

Mia Mingus is a community educator and builder for transformative and disability justice, committed to getting in “right relation” and creating justice together. In 2020, she founded SOIL: A Transformative Justice Project, which works to build the conditions for transformative justice through political education, skills building, formation development, and strategic partnerships. Mingus is passionate about transforming violence, harm, and abuse within our communities—and in ways that do not rely on, nor replicate, the punitive system in which we currently live.
