Hasain Rasheed’s photographs have been published throughout the world in many media formats both online and in print. Hasain has extensive experience creating his own art, helping build campaigns,and documenting important community programs and the work of nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses. Hasain’s partners include the Associated Press, PBS, Stanford University, MUNI, the Oakland Tribune, Alameda County, the cities of Oakland and San Francisco, UC Berkeley, the Oakland Unified School District, and many other organizations, large and small. Hasain’s most recent personal work includes a collection of tin-type portraits of Black Oakland communities and also a project on Black Cowboys and Farmers.
