Guerilla Pump

DJ and community organizer

DJ Guardian Guerrilla Pump is a first generation Afro-Filipino artist and community organizer rooted in the East Bay’s underground creative scene. He has over 15 years of experience working on-the-ground to support grassroots social justice mobilizations on the East and West Coasts. Guerrilla is an award-winning, internationally published artist, best known for his work as a DJ, photographer, and cultural producer as featured on platforms like Boiler Room, VICE, Afropunk, Them, Mic.com, Billboard.com, Bandcamp Daily, and KQED.

Currently, Guerrilla Pump is hosting residencies at El Rio SF (G-Spot & Freakstyle), Oakland’s First Fridays (Stork Club & G-Spot), Lower Grand Radio (Hella Pinay Radyo Show). He also serves as the lead organizer for We Are The Ones We’ve Been Waiting For, a DJ collective known for their fundraiser dance parties and mutual aid initiatives, building creative resistance with communities targeted by state sanctioned violence and socio-cultural marginalization.

Guerrilla Pump’s powerful sound is inspired by the streets, with a dynamic selection of rare underground tracks, remixed throwbacks, and old school vinyl rips laced with electro-bass, freestyle, ghetto house, and ballroom (vogue). His notable style mixes funky melodies of love and passion with deep urban booty bumpin’ beats, creating unforgettable experiences filled with excitement, nostalgia, empowerment, and pride.
