Community Kitchens

Community Kitchens (CK) is a food justice organization that builds equitable and sustainable foodways in Oakland, CA. They believe that real food justice will never be achieved unless the idea of food justice becomes part of our culture and institutions. They strive to bring the whole community into their work to make food justice a visible and everyday idea in Oakland life. CK focuses on ensuring that good nutrition and food security are accessible to all Oaklanders, and by working to bring inclusivity and economic justice to every aspect of the food production, distribution, and preparation in Oakland.
