Arteivia Muaava

Arteivia Muaava attended Santa Clara University (SCU) where she played Division 1 basketball and graduated from in 2014 with a Liberal Arts degree, with an emphasis in pre-teaching. From 2015 – 2017 she attended Notre Dame de Namur University for her teaching credential. During this time, she worked as a teacher’s assistant for the San Mateo Union High School District. From 2016 – 2018 she taught Physical Education at Belle Air Elementary and St. Pius School. And for a little less than 3 years, she has worked at Students Rising Above as a College and Career Advisor. Students Rising Above is an organization that helps low-income, underserved students get to and through college and into a career afterward. She is married to her college sweetheart and they have two beautiful babies and one on the way.
