Listen to a poetry reading, enjoy a catered lunch, and experience cultural offerings from Indigenous poets, scholars and activists. Curated and conceived by author Lehua M. Taitano, this event offers a communal space to share in the power of poetry and food as a means of collective healing, connection, and conversation. The afternoon will feature readings by two Bay Area poets Arlene Biala and Lee Kava, a moderated post-reading discussion, and a shared meal provided by local Indigenous chefs Prubechu’.

Each ticket includes a catered lunch and selection of non-alcoholic beverages. The lunch menu includes red rice, BBQ chicken skewers, iceberg salad with cherry tomato, radish and wasabi ranch, and fina’denne’ sauce.
