For the third year running, Diaspora Arts Connection is proud to present Let Her Sing® 2019: A Celebration of Female Voices.

Fourteen female vocalists from Iran, Turkey, and Afghanistan, and a group of exceptional international musicians will come together on September 21 to celebrate the female voice; suppressed, censored, and threatened in parts of the world. Join us for an evening of exciting music and solidarity for the female voice. Our lineup this year features Paris-based Ariana Vafadari, London-based Azadeh, Bay Area-based Iranian Women Folk Singers (Azadeh Farpour, Hana Davarmanesh, Mima Goodarz, and Sanaz Mardkar), London-based Elaha Soroor, Vienna-based Golnar Shahyar, Bay Area-based Işık Berfin and Ozden Oztoprak, UAE-based Layla Kardan, Texas-based Mehrnoosh, Paris-based Niaz Nawab, and Los Angeles-based Shahrzad Sepanlou. This program is made possible through grants from The Hand Foundation, SVB Foundation, TE Connectivity, and our generous donors.
