Celebrate Halloween with a creative afternoon at YBCA! Join our free, family-friendly art workshop inspired by Bay Area Then, YBCA’s current exhibition celebrating the region’s vibrant artistic legacy.
In this hands-on session, participants of all ages will learn how to construct their own pop-up mini haunted houses, drawing inspiration from artist Manuel Ocampo’s “Manananggal – no es una virgen II.” Let your imagination take over—what spooky characters or mysterious objects will you include in your haunted creation?
For even more Halloween fun, decorate mini pumpkins provided by our friends at the Yerba Buena Gardens Conservancy. All materials are included, and participants can take their finished artwork home as a keepsake.
