Create art inspired by exhibitions at YBCA in this series of drop-in art workshops for participants of all ages. Each workshop will be inspired by a different artist and explore the artist’s practice and art-making methods. Materials will be provided, and participants will be able to take their artwork home as a souvenir.
Create a watercolor painting inspired by music. In this workshop, participants will learn watercolor techniques such as applying wet-on-wet brush marks, creating streaks, masking, and mixing colors. This workshop is inspired by Nicky Nodjoumi’s painting Play Me A Love Song.
