Create art inspired by exhibitions at YBCA in this series of drop-in art workshops for participants of all ages. Each workshop will be inspired by a different artist and explore the artist’s practice and art-making methods. Materials will be provided, and participants will be able to take their artwork home as a souvenir.
Create colorful tissue paper flower garlands in this workshop. Play around with color and scale, and explore form and textures. This workshop is inspired by the spring season and the Annual Flores de Mayo Celebration, hosted by YBCA’s community partner SOMA Pilipinas, in the heart of the Filipino Heritage District.
