Create art inspired by exhibitions at YBCA in this series of drop-in art workshops for participants of all ages. Each workshop will be inspired by a different artist and explore the artist’s practice and art-making methods. Materials will be provided, and participants will be able to take their artwork home as a souvenir.
Celebrate the beauty of spring by creating a bouquet of flowers made from felt fabric. Explore shapes, form, color, and texture, while learning basic sewing techniques. This workshop is inspired by the spring season and the Annual Flores de Mayo Celebration, hosted by YBCA’s community partner SOMA Pilipinas, in the heart of the Filipino Heritage District.
