Healing and Decolonizing Body as Land Through Mythical Figures and Ritual Practice

Connect/Reflect/Enact is a multi-part project integrating body-knowledge and art-creation led by artist Dohee Lee. Participants are invited to hold space for deep reflection on wounds–both suffered and inflicted through systemic oppression existing in the U.S. and our homelands.

This program will explore individual and collective community healing rituals. Through a creative art process, Lee will guide participants to reconnect to our myths and mythical figures. By engaging with stories from our ancestral homelands and cultures, this workshop hopes to bridge social, political, and climate justice, while learning how to be good guests and settlers of the land on which we are living.

Rituals created during the workshops will contribute to site-specific events planned for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.
