Daddie$ Pla$tik is an Oakland-based group comprised of Tyler Holmes, VainHein, and San Cha. They first teamed up with the drag diva Persia to create the anti-gentrification Bay Area anthem “Google Google Apps Apps.” The video went viral, gaining global notoriety from a number of renowned websites and publications, including Buzzfeed, the San Francisco Bay Guardian, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the New York Times. Daddie$ Pla$tik has since grown from the initial core trio, originally focused on production, into a continuously evolving group of visual creators, personas, and musicians that is also a full band with a drummer, a guitarist, synth players, and vocalists.
