Lisa Bulawsky is an artist whose practice is driven by questions concerning the nature of time as a fixture of the mortal imagination, and as recorded through public histories and the lived experience of individuals. These investigations manifest in a range of activities including installation, works on paper, participatory and temporary public art. Lisa is professor and chair of the MFA in Visual Art program, and director of Island Press in the Sam Fox School at Washington University in St. Louis.
