Josh Hari is a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Oakland, California via Jalisco, Mexico. Influenced heavily by the rich musical tradition of the SF Bay Area, his deep groove and stylistic versatility have made him an in-demand collaborator and musical director. His original musical projects have received acclaim from Rolling Stone Magazine, Bass Player Magazine, and have represented the United States on tours in 4 continents on behalf of the US State Dept under the Obama Administration.

He has worked with a diverse list of artists that stylistically run the gamut of contemporary American music: Herbie Hancock, Dianne Reeves, Terence Blanchard, Terri Lyne Carrington, Lalah Hathaway, Lizz Wright, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Amber Mark, Kadhja Bonet, Jose James, Phife Dawg (A Tribe Called Quest), Fatoumata Diawara, Michael Kiwanuka, Amel Larrieux  Goapele, Lyrics Born, Killah Priest, Kool Keith, Daveed Diggs, Laurie Lewis, Joe Louis Walker, and many more. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
