After falling in love with the guitar at age ten, Gabe has since performed and recorded with a variety of artists including Wynton Marsalis, Jon Batiste, Joshua Bell, Damian Woetzel, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Arturo O’Farrill,  Julian Lage, Jorge Glem, Bill T. Jones, Lil’ Buck, and Esperanza Spalding, among others. A graduate of The Juilliard School and recipient of the Jerome Green Fellowship, Gabe was featured in Wynton Marsalis’ The Future of Jazz Orchestra and was also a member of his acclaimed band The Young Stars of Jazz,  which headlined at the 2016 Marciac Jazz Festival. Gabe has performed at such venues as Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, The Jazz Standard, Birdland, The Jazz Gallery, Staples Center, The Blue Note NYC, the Vail International Dance Festival, the American Folk Festival, and the Newport, Monterey, Montreux, Montreal, Marciac, and Toronto International Jazz Festivals. Gabe currently resides in Hawaii and New York City, where he is involved in a variety of projects spanning various musical worlds.
