Eeshan Kumar is currently a Philosophy Masters student at San Francisco State University. His work there, which he has presented at various conferences both domestically as well as abroad, is in the areas of Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Mathematics, and Witgenstein scholarship. Though his Masters thesis is on the “Unreasonable”, yet Effective, Applicability of Mathematics in the Natural Sciences, it was his research in the Philosophy of Language, and more importantly Wittgenstein, that lead him to consider alternate modes of philosophical expression, specifically in film and poetry. His poetry therefore exhibits the fruits of his extensive, and peculiar, philosophical education.
