James Hosking is a documentary photographer and filmmaker based in Chicago. His work exploring gender, class, and labor has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Mother Jones, the California Sunday Magazine, and many other outlets. He has received support from the Economic Hardship Reporting Project and San Francisco’s Grants for the Arts. He was selected as one of the Magenta Foundation’s top emerging photographers and has collaborated extensively with the Tenderloin Museum on public programs.
