San Francisco Map Fair

September 27–29, 2019

The S.F. Map Fair consists of many reputable antique map, print, book and ephemera dealers. Thousands of maps, prints, and books spanning over 500 years of art and history will be on display and available for purchase over this three day event, which opens on Friday evening with an exclusive Preview Night and Reception. Tickets to this event are available on the website and include admission for the rest of the weekend.

The S.F. Map Fair also includes a two day lecture series put together by the California Map Society that will focus on a wide variety of historical mapping topics. These lectures are free to all attendees.

All NET proceeds from the S.F. Map Fair will benefit the History in Your Hands Foundation, a non-profit organization the seeks to provide classrooms with authentic, historical objects in an effort to help foster a more enriched learning experience.

Lecture Series

The following lecture series, sponsored by the California Map Society will be held in the screening room. All talks are free for map fair attendees. Reserved VIP seating will be available to those that attend the Friday Evening Preview Night on a first come, first serve basis.
