Create art inspired by the artists of Bay Area Now 9 in this series of stand-alone, drop-in art workshops for participants of all ages. Materials will be provided, and participants will be able to take their artwork home as a souvenir. Each workshop will feature a different artist from the BAN9 exhibition and explore the artist’s practice and art-making methods.

On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, tell your own story in textiles through basic stitches and fabric glue, inspired by BAN9 artist Arleene Correa Valencia’s work using traditional Native Mexican textile work to share stories of undocumented communities in the U.S.
