Join us on Friday, August 1 at 6:30pm for a vibrant night of art, music, and community at YBCA. We’re celebrating two new exhibitions—Bay Area Then and MAKIBAKA: A Living Legacy—with a free opening night party.

With sounds provided by DJ Shortkut, performances from Ruby Ibarra and Barr, as well as custom cocktails, this is an evening not to be missed. We’re also excited to host a pop-up shop from Tokyo-based contemporary art gallery Scooters for Peace, offering limited edition merch and designs by Bay Area artists.
