Join San Francisco Community Health Center’s The Lotus Project and Stop the Hate Program, SOMA Pilipinas, and FACINE for the inaugural SOMA Pilipinas Pride: MAKIBEKI!

Amidst the challenging political and economic climate in our country, we continue to foster queer joy and create spaces where we can celebrate our authentic selves. This year marks a historic milestone for the Filipinx LGBTQIA+ community as we launch our very first Pride celebration in the SOMA Pilipinas Filipino Cultural Heritage District.

The SOMA Pilipinas Pride will include a short procession, mini pageant, program with a lineup of Filipinx performers, and resource fair.

SOMA Pilipinas is officially recognized by the City of San Francisco and State of California as the center and cultural hub for the thriving Filipino community, culture, arts and activism.

SOMA Pilipinas’ mission to stop the displacement of Filipino residents and cultural institutions, raise our visibility through cultural celebration and public art, and advance racial equity in solidarity with other communities.
