A retrospective self-portrait by the internationally renowned artist Luciano Chessa.
The program will include Chessa’s newest work, Blind Date, which features The Mobius Trio and is inspired by Chessa’s life experiences as an openly gay Italian man. Chessa will also showcase works from the past 30 years in collaboration with 64 handpicked artists, including pianist Sarah Cahill, percussionist Andrew Meyerson, chamber groups The Living Earth Show and Friction String Quartet, guitar ensemble The Mobius Trio, soprano Amy Foote and baritone Sanford Smith, Maya Barsacq’s Cadenza Orchestra, D. Mark Wilson’s Saint Columba’s Gospel Choir with gospel soprano Laurel Duncan-Anderson, filmmaker Richard Neveu, and more.
