Create art inspired by exhibitions at YBCA in this series of drop-in art workshops for participants of all ages. Each workshop will be inspired by a different artist and explore the artist’s practice and art-making methods. Materials will be provided, and participants will be able to take their artwork home as a souvenir.
Create a dreamscape watercolor painting, inspired by Cedar Annenkovna’s mural Flight to Freedom from the exhibit The Only Door I Can Open: Women Exposing Prison through Art. Curated from within prison, the show explores truths about women and incarceration.
