Wangechi Mutu (b. 1972 Nairobi. Kenya) lives and works in Brooklyn. Recent solo exhibitions include the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney (2013), the Nasher Museum of Art, Durham, North Carolina (2013), which is traveling to the Brooklyn Museum (2013), and the Musee d’Art Contemporain de Montreal (2012).
