Thasnai Sethaseree has a practice that investigates notions of immigration, migration, and nostalgia. Currently faculty at Chiang Mai University in the department of Media Arts and Design, Sethaseree has come to be known for his explorations in the social sciences examining the complexities of temporal, archival, and unarchival structures so as to question how we inhabit them. An iteration of make it like home…anywhere? was presented at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (2014). His work has also been presented in Utopia Station at the 50th Venice Biennale (2003) and at such venues as Si-Am Art Space, Bangkok (2002), the Queens Museum of Art, New York (2001), and Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery (2001).
