Telice Summerfield is a professional TURF dancer and Bay Area community organizer. Summerfield recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare and Spanish. They are passionate about bringing people together, as both their academic and artistic endeavors share that same goal. They own a dance company called PxssyPower (@pxssypowerdance), which fosters ​a global dance network to empower female movement artists by providing ladies a platform to showcase their talent, secure opportunities, and connect with a diverse dance community of different styles, cultures, and backgrounds. On a larger scale, their goal is to bridge gaps of social inequity by affirming the importance of community and connection, and offering opportunity to those who need it.
