A practicing Hip Hop aerosol writer/artist & calligrapher for over 40 years, spie one is a visual artist/painter/muralist and arts educator at the high school level who assists young people in harnessing and using their radical imaginations through plastic arts and photography in self-expression and community justice activism. The artist’s chromatic palette and intricate design centers international struggles for liberation and calls for recognition of our ancestors’ resilience. Spie one continues to collaborate with numerous artists and communities around the San Francisco Bay Area & internationally.
