Since 2002, Lonnie van Brummelen and Siebren de Haan have produced film, installations, and texts that investigate migration as well as the cultural and geopolitical landscapes of Europe. Their documentation methods often utilize 16-millimeter and 35-millimeter film and text. Presentations of their work have been included in exhibitions at the James Gallery, CUNY (2014), the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taiwan (2014), the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Rotterdam, the Netherlands (2011), Project Arts Center, Dublin (2009), the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam (2009), the Museum of Modern Art, New York (2008), and the Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2007).
