Jeantelle is a Filipina community organizer and writer, born and raised in San Francisco. She is deeply committed to building power with communities to cultivate self-determination and challenge inequitable systems that perpetuate disinvestment, displacement, and cultural erasure. She currently works as a Community Organizer and Staff Writer at [people. power. media]. Prior to this role, Laberinto was a consultant at SOMA Pilipinas and led the development of a strategic report in partnership with the City to strengthen community stability and cultural heritage. As a freelance writer, she has covered local politics, grassroots struggles, and community stories. Jeantelle has worked on local campaigns and is currently a lead organizer with the Filipinx Progressive Caucus of the San Francisco Rising Action Fund. She earned a Master’s degree in Urban and Public Affairs from the University of San Francisco in 2019 and was selected as a San Francisco New Leaders Council Fellow in 2021.
