Christopher James Farstad is an American multimedia artist whose work investigates the tension between digital and analog techniques. As a video artist, he has developed an intricately constructed and psychedelic compositional style, having given projection-assisted performances since 2020. Rooted in and inspired by improvisation, his work has exhibited at dozens of venues across North America and Japan since 2013. As a multi-instrumentalist, his discography includes both solo and collaborative releases on independent labels such as Moon Glyph, Sun Ark, Constellation Tatsu, and Intercoastal Artists.
