Diana Gameros, a 2015 YBCA 100 artist, presents an evening of Latin-influenced indie-pop, folk, jazz, and orchestral music. The music is complemented by storytelling through poems and sound clips inspired by her journey as an immigrant, the constant search for “home,” and the stories of those she’s met along the way.
Originally from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, Diana Gameros is a singer, guitarist , and composer. Gameros creates authentic, inspiring music that reflects the twenty-first-century experiences of an indie artist at the borderlands between cultures, languages, and genres.
