Andrew Norman Wilson (b. 1983, Medfield, Massachusetts) is an artist based in New York. Through webinars, installations, PowerPoint presentations, performances, audio meditations, and videos, Wilson’ intervenes in the brands and infrastructures of Silicon Valley and other worldwide tech corporations, questioning the roles of labor, power, and capital. His works are intended as instigations that aid in understanding the movement of information economies in the global marketplace as well as the power relations that emerge from them.
Wilson received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2011, and a BS in television, radio, and film from Syracuse University, Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2006.
